Portalevel™ MAX Arrives in Mongolia & Detects Failed Cylinder at Sea – August 2016

We are pleased to announce that our first MAX unit arrives in Mongolia this month at a major customer protecting its server rooms and computer systems. Yesterday the Master of a military support ship emailed us to say : Just FYI, I purchased it and ABS required us to have some means of determining the level. It sat mostly unused for a couple of years until recently, when a more ambitious young officer pulled it out and used it to determine that a fixed fire system bottle for the galley deep fat fryer had failed. The fire fighting agent had dried and caked to the sides of the bottle, rendering it useless in the event of an emergency. Even the professional service companies failed to discover this failure during the annual inspections because the weight was not affected. Without the Portalevel™, it might have gone undetected until an actual emergency, at which time it would have failed with possibly disastrous consequences. Great piece of equipment!
