Portalevel® IS Now Featuring Dual Certification
The newly dual-certified Portalevel® IS now boasts both ATEX (II 2G Ex ib IIA T4 Gb) and IECEx (Ex ib IIA T4 Gb) certifications. These certifications are pivotal in enhancing the safety and compliance of our ultrasonic liquid level indicator, particularly for monitoring liquid levels in hazardous environments.
The device measures liquid levels contained in fire suppression cylinders and other types of tanks stored in hazardous zone environments. The dual certification allows for global compliance and offers the long-term benefits of safer testing practices, no downtime and confidence that the liquid levels are where they need to be.
Application
Since the dual certifications, the Portalevel® INTRINSICALLY SAFE makes it suitable for use globally in both Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas, thus significantly broadening its application scope. It is intended for use in areas where an explosive atmosphere is likely to occur in normal operation and must ensure a high level of protection.
