Coltraco Ultrasonics
We export 89% of our products to 120 countries both directly and through our Global Network of Partners, Distributors, Agents and Resellers. It was a great honour to win our second award in recognition of our company’s success and resilience during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 2022 Queens Award for Enterprise motivates us to continue spirit of invention and innovation that will combine with our ability to adapt, embrace change, and create new markets for our new technologies.
Our Chairman said: “Just receiving this award is enough, but during the challenging period without having to furlough anybody and then having energised our own science to do something in two specific areas that hasn’t been done before, feels really wonderful.
The Queen’s Award validates the effort and determination that our exceptional team has put in especially when so many areas of complexity were hitting them simultaneously. We couldn’t be more thrilled.”
It is our mission to “see the sounds that others cannot hear”, enable people to live safer lives and secure critical national infrastructure on land and at sea. We will achieve this by designing and manufacturing world-leading technologies, systems and instrumentation solutions operating in safety-critical environments across the maritime, naval, energy, laboratory, built environment, medical and safety-engineering market sectors.
This award will further support us in delivering on this mission and you can learn more about the Queen’s Award for Enterprise and its impact on the official blog, here.
Our Global Distributors Network
We are grateful to each of our distributors network for all their work in partnership with us.
As a global leader in ultrasonic instrumentation, we are proud of our industry-leading products and record. We partner with companies that have vision, energy and the determination to do what is right in a demanding world. Our Distributors experience the opportunity to launch world-first technology to their customers, and benefit from exclusivity in their chosen market sectors.
Our company and each of our distributors are committed to upholding the Safeship™ and Safesite™ principles:
Safeship™: Our instruments are installed on 17% of the world’s 60,000 ships, safeguarding against catastrophic failures by monitoring watertight integrity and ensuring the safe containment of fire-extinguishing gases like CO2. These principles underpin our status as a Safeship™ company in the maritime sector.
Safesite™: Serving over 20 market sectors, our instruments ensure that safety-critical systems—such as gaseous fire suppression systems, sprinkler systems, and process control equipment in high-value assets—function effectively. In the Built Environment, our technology identifies airtightness and energy loss. This commitment makes us a Safesite™ company on land.
