Our CEO Carl Stephen Patrick Hunter joined 400 representatives of UK business and finance at the British Government’s first UK Trade and Export Finance Forum in Westminster today. The Secretary of State for International Trade, The Rt Hon Dr Liam Fox MP, opened the Forum, which was jointly hosted by UK Export Finance (UKEF) and the Department for International Trade (DIT). In UKEF, British exporters and UK partner countries overseas, have a world-class export credit capability. Baroness Fairhead, Minister of State for Trade and Export Promotion, addressed UK exporting aims and the forthcoming Governments Export Strategy. Also speaking were Ms Antonia Romeo, Permanent Secretary of the Department for International Trade, Mr Louis Taylor, CEO of UK Export Finance and Baroness Emma Nicholson, Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy.
