We at Coltraco Ultrasonics are proud to help give women self-empowerment with a second career. As part of our mission to support upskilling women at all stages of their careers, we are proud to share that our team has recently been joined by Rebecca Gray. Rebecca shares with us her story, as part of this International Women’s Day:
“When I had my son, my whole world was turned upside down and my career as a Business Development Manager in the Aerospace world took the back seat to my new job of Mum (nurse / teacher / entertainer / cleaner / full time worrier and general dogs body) and I would not have had it any other way. Becoming a mother is the biggest privilege and despite being the hardest work I have ever done, is also the most rewarding. As my son has grown up to the ripe old age of 6 years old, he needs me just a little bit less and I need a bit of something just for me. I wasn’t quite sure where I would find that something, until Coltraco Ultrasonics came along. This amazingly forward-looking company has offered me work that I am able to fit in around my son and the school day. The hours are flexible, the people are lovely and my brain is gradually revving back up again! My son is excited that I am working for a company that makes equipment to, in his words, “keep people safe” and I am proud to show him that Mum has talents beyond housework, grocery shopping and building castles out of cardboard boxes! Coltraco Ultrasonics is a company that believes in gender balance and promotes the value of women in business.”
