Connecting the Global UK Energy Sector
Coltraco Ultrasonics are proud to announce that they have joined NOF as members. NOF is a business development organisation helping to make valuable connections between businesses in the global UK energy sector. After attending their events across the North East of the UK aiming to connect the best and most innovative supply chain businesses in the UK, Coltraco have joined to continue and develop growing in the energy sector.
Serving the Energy Industry
Having worked in the energy industry for 30 years, Coltraco Ultrasonics are proud that our customers reflect the energy mix of offshore oil and gas exploration and production, coal fired power stations, hydro gas plants, to nuclear power plants through to renewable energy, such as wind turbines in both onshore and offshore farms. They chose our technology predominantly for testing their fire extinguishing systems and watertight integrity.
Since 2017 one of the world’s leading Renewable Energy companies manufacturing wind turbines has chosen Coltraco Ultrasonics’ Portalevel® MAX to enhance their fire safety management. With manufacturing plants and servicing locations worldwide this wind turbine manufacture chose a supplier who could support them globally. Coltraco Ultrasonics are one of their top 35 suppliers and are proud to supply their range of inspection products and continuous monitoring systems.
With the help of NOF Coltraco Ultrasonics look forward to expanding our relationships in the renewable energy sector for example by connecting with fellow members.

Commitment to the Northern Powerhouse
Joining NOF also signifies Coltraco Ultrasonics continued commitment to the North of England. Having recently joined the UK Government’s partnership scheme, the Northern Powerhouse, Coltraco Ultrasonics are proud that NOF membership supports business growth throughout the UK but they have a special network in the North East where they started from. With strong relationships with Durham University, choosing suppliers specifically from the North, encouraging recruiting locally, Coltraco Ultrasonics are proud of this commitment.
