In September 2018, Coltraco Ultrasonics’ CEO Carl Hunter gave oral evidence to Lord Savile’s Bribery Act 2010 Committee. As partners of the GREAT campaign, Coltraco Ultrasonics are delighted to see the UKGov publish useful information to help companies do business with integrity. Carl would like to thank DFID for inviting him to work on the BII panel. Carl was impressed by Mr John Penrose MP, chair of DFID’s BII, who spoke strongly about Anti-Corruption. Included below is an extract from DFID.
The first Business Integrity Initiative Expert Panel hosted by the Department for International Trade (DIT) and chaired by John Penrose MP (the PM’ss Anti-corruption Champion) and Lesley Bachelor (Director General of the Institute of Export) took place on 15 May. The Hub received expert guidance on how to effectively market the Business Integrity Consultancy Service. The Expert Panel consists of UK government representatives, private sector actors, civil society organisations and academia and will meet every six months, with the following objectives:
- review progress against the commitments and objectives of the Business Integrity Initiative,
- ensure the work of the Initiative is relevant to businesses, and
- ask panel members to contribute in terms of time and in-kind support.
Doing business with integrity is good for business.
