Mary Connie joined the event hosted by Maritime UK, with several Government Ministers in attendance to celebrate our leadership in the industry.
‘It was a pleasure to participate in this event, which brought together personnel from Government Departments, British exporting companies, and trade associations. Minister Nusrat Ghani MP, Minister Graham Stuart MP, and Lord Callanan all delivered brilliant speeches which iterated how important our Maritime industry is for the UK, which brings in £37 billion to the UK, and transports 95% of all goods in the UK. We are the first to implement a Maritime 2050 strategy and will endeavour to continue to enhance the success and status of the UK Maritime industry. We look forward to the London International Shipping Week where we welcome the world to London to showcase our leading capabilities.’
