Coltraco Ultrasonics Senior Physicist, Daniel Dobrowlski MPhys, attended the Defence Procurement Research Technology Exportability conference (DPRTE 2022) in Farnborough, UK on 5th May 2022.
DPRTE is one of the UK’s leading defence procurement and supply chain event, which aims to establish a more productive and strategic relationship between the government and the defence and security industries. Daniel enjoyed attending a number of talks on subjects relating to innovation and engaging with SMEs.
“DPRTE 2022 was a fantastic chance to connect with some of the key players in the UK defence industry. Britain has a strong potential to cement itself as a global science superpower and government recognises that SMEs can play a key role in this. In meeting with a few familiar faces, and plenty of new ones, it was clear that Coltraco’s research capabilities, not least of all in our research institute, DIRDI, and our Centre for Underwater Acoustic Analysis (CUAA), will have many applications in innovation-hungry domains such as Space and Subsea Communications”
