It is with great pleasure that Mr Peter Litchfield, Technical Sales Director, CSD Sealing Systems and our CEO Mr Carl Stephen Patrick Hunter have agreed to work in mutual support of their joint interests in Portascanner™ Watertight and the RISE Multi-Cable Transit System used in the Royal Navy and UK MoD and to co-exhibit and share speaking opportunities at appropriate Naval and Marine conferences in the UK. RISE and SLIPSIL Sealing Plugs were selected by BAE Systems across six Type 45 ships with the products being used on all pipe and cable transits. The Type 45’s are some of the most powerful destroyers ever built for the Royal Navy, they can sail over 600 miles a day and operate around the globe. Work has also been carried out with BAE on the Astute SSN hunter-killer Submarine programme and on the new QEC Aircraft Carrier. BAE Systems is part of the Aircraft Carrier Alliance (ACA), which is responsible for delivering the QE Class to the Royal Navy, members of the alliance also include Babcock, Thales UK and the UK Ministry of Defence. CSD and the UK MoD use Portascanner™ Watertight in support of these programmes.
