Congratulations to our Marketing & Communications Assistant Chloe Kay, who took part in the Great North Run 2019 yesterday, raising over £2000 for Parkinson’s UK. The Great North Run is the worlds biggest half marathon, with over 57,000 people taking part, held in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Chloe joined Parkinson’s UK’s team for the half marathon after her father became ill with the disease in 2017. Her and her families story was covered last week in the Newcastle Chronicle, which can be read here.
