“The RINA conference consist of a series of enjoyable technical presentations from academics and industry representatives around the recent developments of IoT and continuous monitoring applicable to the maritime industry. This well-coordinated event attracted some of the brightest minds with attendees from the UK, EU to as far as Japan and South Korea. The nature of the conference created an environment in which everyone was constantly learning from each other and absorbed new ideas to tackle the maritime industry’s most pressing challenges. Coltraco’s presentation was very well received – at the end of our presentation, RINA agreed and showed support to our call for current regulations to be improved and implemented fully that takes into account the recent technological developments in both monitoring and IoT technology.”
