The Blue Mesa Power Plant in Colorado, operated by the US Bureau of Reclamation, consists of two 43,200-kilowatt generators, driven by two 41,500-horsepower turbines. The device measures liquid levels contained in fire suppression cylinders and other types of tanks stored in hazardous zone environments.
