Fajer Fire and Safety Technologies (FFAST), a leading safety company in Saudi Arabia, is known for its expertise in the inspection and maintenance of fire suppression systems and other safety equipment, and it serves customers in a variety of industries, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, and power generation.
FFAST has partnered with Coltraco, a UK-based manufacturer of ultrasonic instrumentation to enhance its inspection capabilities and to expand its presence in Saudi Arabia. Coltraco’s flagship products include ultrasonic liquid level indicators, which are used in a variety of industries to measure the level of liquids inside tanks and containers.
Under the partnership, FFAST has deployed Coltraco’s products, including Portalevel® MAX PLUS and Portasonic® 2.FL0, for inspection and maintenance services at Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) substations. FFAST has secured 5 contracts with SEC for Coltraco products on the job.
The Portalevel® MAX PLUS is a handheld ultrasonic liquid level indicator that enables accurate, non-invasive testing of fire suppression systems. It is designed to provide an easy-to-use, fast, and reliable solution for verifying the contents of CO2, FM-200®, and other liquefied gaseous extinguishing systems.
The Portasonic® 2.FL0, on the other hand, is an ultrasonic flow meter that provides accurate and reliable measurements of liquid flow rates. It is designed to be non-invasive, allowing measurements to be taken without the need for pipes to be cut or systems to be shut down.
Commenting on the partnership, COO at FFAST, Mohammed Younus said, “We are excited to be working with Coltraco to enhance our inspection capabilities. Their products are well-known for their reliability and accuracy, and we are confident that they will enable us to deliver even better services to our customers.”
